چکیده
An early and accurate diagnosis is crucial in trying to prevent cases becoming critical or fatal. Most research into evaluating horses with colic is based on cases seen at referral hospitals. However, veterinary surgeons in first opinion practice play a vital role in identifying early signs that may help differentiate potential surgical cases from those that will respond to medical treatment alone.
